The first gallery showcases examples of my polymer clay work. These pieces are hand painted using an acrylic paint and finished with a varnish. The earring findings are either silver plated (ear wires) or stainless steel (stud backs).
I do have some earrings made purely from silver wire and beads. Please see my listings on Etsy for individual product information. If required, I can change the plated/steel earring findings to 9ct gold or sterling silver, for an additional charge.
My silver work is either made from sterling silver or fine silver, or a combination. All findings are sterling silver. I mainly use recycled sterling silver, sourced locally in Hatton Garden. I favour semi precious stones, in particular labradorite, moonstone and fluorite, an ethic influenced by the Wiener Werkstatte (Vienna Workshops 1905-1935) who saw the beauty in these stones above their monetary value. These stones possess an ethereal flair, which perhaps helps to embody my work with a little Elvin aesthetic :).
I also make colourful leatherette bracelets, with an attractive magnetic fastening.
I hope you’ve enjoyed looking. If you are interested in any of my pieces, please visit my Etsy shop by searching Alpineelfdesigns, or click on the direct link below. I also sell at craft markets throughout the year, please check out my events.
Etsy products sell out fast, so if you are interested in something featured on the website, that is not on Etsy, or if you are interested in bespoke pieces, please contact me. Thank you.
